Programme overview

This Level 7 postgraduate certificate serves as a natural progression from your experience in the Product Management Career Accelerator. It offers an enriching learning journey that allows you to build on the skills and knowledge you've acquired, putting them into practical use in a dissertation project.

For your final project, you'll be paired with an academic supervisor from King's College London. Your work will encompass both the development and delivery of a comprehensive portfolio, as well as a written dissertation. Both elements are inspired by your prior experience in the Career Accelerator learning area.

The time you've invested in the Career Accelerator will be converted into academic credits, contributing to your completion of the postgraduate certificate.

The programme is self-guided and spans over 4+ months

You’ll have 2-3 supervision sessions with a King’s academic supervisor and check-ins with an industry mentor

Project and dissertation details

Portfolio creation and delivery

Your portfolio will be a tangible showcase of your skills, linked directly to an independent project and drawing from the principles learned in the Product Management Career Accelerator.

Written dissertation

The length and scope of your dissertation will be in line with King's current standards for this level of study. This written work will offer a deep dive into your independent project, underpinned by academic rigour. Learners will also be expected to share a short recorded presentation of the final project.

Additional support

To make your journey even more impactful, the programme includes regular sessions with your King's academic supervisor, as well as opportunities to collaborate with industry mentors, enriching your academic and professional development alike.

    A Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate is an internationally-recognised qualification that sits at the postgraduate level on the UK's qualifications framework. This certificate is at the same academic level as a Master's and is designed to offer specialised knowledge in a specific field. The L7 PGCert is ideal for professionals looking to deepen their expertise or those considering a career change but not willing to commit to a full master's programme just yet. The credits earned can later contribute to a full Master’s.

  • How much does the programme cost?

    The postgraduate programme costs £2,000, however, if you register for the June 2024 intake of this programme you will receive 12.5% (£250) off your programme, paying £1,750, including VAT. There are also discounts available for purchasing the postgraduate certificate alongside the King's Product Management Career Accelerator.

  • Which tools will I be using during this programme?

    Learners will be using the King's online learning platform called Keats. In addition, FourthRev will provide information on their Canvas learning platform.
