CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Integrated AI training
Explore the latest advancements in AI and their impact on product design in weekly live sessions. You’ll cover relevant AI-focused topics such as AI for productivity, user research, UI design and the product development process.
Explore the importance of Product Design in organisational strategy, frame problem statements through product discovery, conduct effective user research, and create data-driven user journey maps. In addition to these foundational technical skills, acquire a number of human skills that are at the core of UX and product design, including empathy, active listening, collaboration, and observation. Learn communication skills and present findings to stakeholders.
Create wireframes and prototypes using tools like Figma, exploring the iterative process and design principles that shape their creation. Learn how product designers collaborate within Agile teams to discover, visualise, test, and refine ideas, weaving them into user-centred designs.
Create high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes in Figma – backed by usability testing, accessibility standards and visual design skills – that wow users. Learn further product design optimisation techniques leveraging data and user feedback, prepare proper design-to-development handoffs and build a high-impact product design portfolio.
As a key component of your learning journey, the Employer Project brings together all the skills you've gained from the first three project-based courses. This project is designed in collaboration with our industry partners to give you first-hand experience in addressing real-world product design challenges using the knowledge and skills you've learned.
During these six weeks, every deliverable, every decision you make, mirrors the professional environment, accelerating your practical skills and portfolio development.
You’ll present your work in industry-aligned formats with feedback from employer partners and industry experts in an experience comparable to being on the job.
View detailed course outlines in the programme brochure.
Figma is used throughout the programme, but you’ll be encouraged to apply universal design principles to a range of industry tools.
“This course isn’t teaching book smartness, it’s guiding you through the theory, logic, challenges and implementation of UX. It’s a springboard for a great career focused on user centricity and outcomes.”

Differentiation is more important than ever. Fill the gap for high-quality designers that hiring managers can’t find in the applications they receive from bootcamps and other sources.
Display UX and UI design skills that hiring managers value – more than just “creating pretty things”.
Work on a series of practical projects to build a rigorous portfolio featuring strong clients.
Build relevant experience in a final, 6-week Employer Project set by a real-world company.
“The Employer Project is a real life application of design practices – it’s the learner’s chance to do some real work and to get their hands dirty...it will be precisely something employers are looking for."
CEO of Creative Navy
UX is a human-centric field that relies just as much on emotional intelligence as it does on tech, data and analytics. AI tools can’t fully replace human product designers.
Stay ahead of evolving trends with live AI training in weekly sessions with facilitators – exploring the key areas of AI impact in UX, UI and product design.
No matter the product you’re building, an intuitive user experience matters. That’s why it’s one of the top skill priorities for businesses.2
Learn to design (and think) with focus and intention, as only a human can. The right approach for the problem will always find a superior solution.
Adapting at pace isn’t easy. Your support team of coaches, success managers and tutors ensures you feel equally challenged and motivated.
“The one thing (AI) isn’t really able to provide is that human empathy and interaction, which is quite crucial for UX because you’re thinking about how your user is going to feel or how you want their actual overall experience to be when using a product, app or website. I’m quite confident in saying that I don’t think AI is going to take over anytime soon.”
Career Accelerator Alumna
Architecture to UX Design
This is not an open-enrolment, low-commitment course that just ticks off a list of required skills. It’s a Career Accelerator.
You’ll learn design thinking, not just how to use design tools. You’ll dive into the
nature of UX problems, not just attempt to solve them blindly.
You’ll learn
more than nuts and bolts – you’ll learn how to put it all together.
And that’s why you’ll be awarded an official certificate from a top 10 ranked university in the UK: King’s College London.4
Programmes need to meet certain standards to result in a King’s certificate.
Get noticed in the job market with a certificate from a recognisable institution.
Add the King’s brand to your CV to extend your relevance far into the future.
“You need everything that you can on your side. You need people behind you to lift you up and say “this person can do what they say they can do” – that coming from King’s College London is my foot in the door.”
Career Accelerator Alumnus
Take your next step with confidence, thanks to the support, guidance and advocacy of a professional success team. At the start of the programme, you’ll get your own Career Coach and Success Manager. Through 1:1 sessions, you’ll work to define your career goals, develop a strategy to achieve them and boost your professional profile so that you stand out as a sought-after product design professional.
“I was able to land something within four months of starting the course. And I’m now working at a separate healthcare company in their marketing department but as a UX designer.”
Architecture Grad to UX Designer
“With the progress I’ve made in my career over the last six months, in terms of the added responsibility and the ability to actually work properly in this industry, I think it’s going to pay for itself.”
Software Engineer to UX Designer
“If I stopped right now (after the first course of the programme), I think I would’ve gotten full value for money.”
Enhanced Graphic Design experience with UX
“My Career Coach was brilliant. For me, I needed to focus on soft skills, like how to stand up and present with confidence. Impostor Syndrome was a big thing for me, particularly at the very start of my career, because I was never really sure whether I was doing the right thing. I didn’t have the confidence to explain myself properly. Working with my coach helped me build up those skills in a way I couldn’t have imagined. It was very much tailored to me.”
